Lauren earned her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a specialization in Exercise Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio and her Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University. She is licensed to practice in the state of Texas and Arizona and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. 

Lauren has worked as a school-based SLP for the last 8 years. She has worked for Dallas ISD, Richardson ISD, and Allen ISD. Most recently she has served as a contract SLP providing teletherapy services in Kingman USD based in Arizona. She also has experience working within the home health field as a speech language pathology assistant for 5 years and supervising Speech Language Pathology Assistants. She has experience working with children on the autism spectrum, as well as children with speech sound disorders, language disorders, fluency disorders, social/pragmatic language disorders, and children with AAC devices. 

Lauren enjoys working with children and their families because she believes that every child deserves to be heard and supported in developing the skills and confidence to communicate in their everyday lives.
